Welcome to Deaken Design Studio

Hello! I'm Jessica Deaken, the creative force behind Deaken Design Studio. My passion for art and design began in childhood, nurtured by a mother who saw me as an architect or artist. While I dreamed of being an inventor, I ultimately found my true calling in branding—bringing creativity and strategy together to invent and reinvent businesses through impactful visual storytelling.

My journey to this studio wasn’t a straight line. After realizing that a career in admin within an architectural firm left me unfulfilled, I chose to pursue what I was truly passionate about. With two young children, I boldly moved from Vancouver to Montreal to study graphic design and fine art. During this transformative time, I also discovered a love for marketing through a network marketing company I joined. Later on, I became certified in digital marketing, life and mindset coaching, and therapeutic art. This unique blend of design, coaching, and marketing expertise has become the foundation of Deaken Design Studio, where creativity and strategy come together to bring visions to life.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked with startups, financial firms, wellness brands, and service businesses across Canada. While my projects have varied widely, my true passion lies in helping entrepreneurs build brands that empower them to launch and grow their businesses.

My early experiences in entrepreneurial and network marketing environments showed me that business ownership can create real freedom — the ability to shape your own schedule, grow beyond traditional income limits, and build a life that supports both your ambitions and your family. That perspective deeply shaped how I approach my work today.
